During the six years I spent in India, I studied Ayurveda and homoeopathy in depth and had the opportunity to learn from renowned doctors. I later obtained my German Heilpraktiker licence and earned a number of diplomas. These include the sought-after AGTCM acupuncture diploma, the highest level of acupuncture training in Germany. My osteopathy practice holds Verband freier Osteopathen (VfO) certification and is also recognised by health insurance providers such as TKK and SBK. Many company health insurance funds contribute towards osteopathic treatments, having recognised that patients who use this form of therapy are healthier and therefore need costly diagnostic procedures such as MRI and CT scans less often. Highlights of my education and training include a Magister degree in philosophy at LMU Munich, an introduction to TCM with Grandmaster Chee Dato Kim Thong in Kuala Lumpur, six years in India, training in osteopathy, paediatric osteopathy and craniosacral therapy with Olaf Korpiun, an AGTCM acupuncture diploma at the European Institute of Oriental Medicine, homoeopathy with Rajan Sankaran and Mahesh Gandhi, studies in osteopathic medicine at Dresden International University with Jean-Pierre Guillaume and the European College of Osteopathy, as well as acupuncture training with Joseph Viktor Müller and Don Halfkenny, whom I consider to be Europe's best and second-best acupuncturists, and training in pain treatment with Dr Richard Tan and Dr Bob Doane.

I am an experienced teacher of acupuncture & osteopathy and have taught at various schools and institutes in Germany for many years. Training in all styles of acupuncture has given me a wide range of treatment options. I have also studied different approaches to osteopathy in depth, from the early techniques of Still, Littlejohn and Sutherland to craniosacral therapy and biodynamics. Sports osteopathy and paediatric osteopathy are particularly important to me.
